Ok..so nice day outside. I'm waiting for my brother to get done mowing our neighbor's lawn, so that I can do our lawn. Now, there's just one problem. And that would be my dad crapped out on me for going to the casino. Says it makes him feel old, and that he doesnt feel like losing his money. So, now instead of going to Canada, and having a good time, I'm going to the farmer's market and the mall to get Superman tickets.

Not all bad. Just that I was beginning to think that my dad and I finally had something to do together. Wrong about that one, I guess. He's like, instead lets go camping, or hiking...yea ok dad..great...just what I want to do.

So instead I'm mowing his stupid lawn.

Shit.

So, as you can tell by the subject of this post, yes, we didnt end up going to NY after all; due to the 80% chance of rain that was called for. I'm not too sure what did happen today as far as that game was concerned, but oh well. Instead of going down there, we went to Kingston, Ontario. I love Canada. Such a great place.

The wait time at the border going into Canada was a little long. I think about 45 mins. Got over to Hill Island, stopped into the little tourist travel centre thing, got brochures and my dad changed money. (I didnt have to, because I still had like 65 dollars left from the last time I went to Canada with Dave). Then, we headed to the Catariqui (Spell that right?) town centre, which is a small mall, but a little bigger than Salmon Run. Nothing really of interest there.

Then we stopped at the bulk barn (www.bulkbarn.ca) it's a small store that does nothing but sell food in bulk. So, I got a pound of gumballs, sour patch kids, and some of those delicious crunchy cheese doodles.)

After that, we wandered around downtown on Princess St. Visited all the local shops around there. Props to Chumleigh's, and Zap Records Store. Also, to that McDonald's I've eaten in so many times.

So, after walking around downtown, and going to the mall, I still had about 50 dollars left. I knew I wanted to get rid of it all, so to the Casino it was!

The Thousand Island Charity Casino
380 Highway 2, Gananoque, Ontario K7G 2V4
(613) 382-6800 or 1-866-266-8422
Group and Motorcoach Programs 1-888-942-6224
http://corporate.olgc.ca/charity/thousand.jsp

Where as I cant speak for this whole area, because I've never been to Turning Stone, or the Awkwasasne Mohawk casino, in my opinion, this place is pretty alright. But, after being to Casino Niagara, the Charity Casino doesnt even compare. Casino Niagara has 3 floors of pure gambling madness, more table games, and more things to do inside than just gamble. Idk, when you're in the CC, it's weird, you feel compelled and obligated to lose all your money in there. I didnt get that feeling from Casino Niagara. The environment is much more relaxed there. Plus, they banned smoking in the CC, which idk if that's an Ontario thing, but I like a good smoke when I'm drinkin and pullin those slots. So, that's one thing I missed out on. Eh, oh well.

So, if you're wondering how the trip ended, it ended with me drunk, out of money, and a huge smile on my face. So, there's a sign of a sure good time.

My next days off from work are Wed/Thu, so on Wed my dad and I are going to Hull up in Quebec. The Hull Casino is there, for those of you wondering. If you want literature on it, it's below:

http://www.casino-du-lac-leamy.com/lacleamy/nav/accueil

Probably requires more than just a single day visit, because it's an actual resort, where as the CC is not. I'm wrappin shit up here, and hittin' the hay. Night y'all

Remember: Go for fun, not for broke.
Know your limit, stay within it.
PLAY RESPONSIBLY 1-888-230-3505

So, nothing much going on really...been awhile since I've updated. Dad's birthday earlier this week. Bought him a 13 week subscription to USA Today, our nation's BEST newspaper. You might be wondering why the title of this entry is Applebees sucks? See- in conjunction with my dad's birthday, we went there for lunch. Now, all these resteraunts are the same: Applebees, TGI Fridays, and Ruby Tuesday's. They all have basically the same menus, and for whatever reason, I didnt want a big burger this time. So instead I ordered this turkey sandwich. Not bad, I thought. When it comes, there's mayonaise on it, and this weird looking cranberry shit they call Chutney. Now, I dont know about you, but I dont eat ANY of that shit. Fuck, I dont even know what Chutney IS. But, I thought how bad could it be? So, I sent it back, and when the waitress came back with it, all they had done was wipe off the mayo from the bread. Fuck them. So, I didnt eat it, took it home in one of those little styrofoam thingys, and my mom ate it later that night. And, yes I read everything on the menu, and no it didnt say anything about Mayo.

^Moral of that story is, I dont eat at those shit places anymore. They're all the same shit. Instead, I go to Burger King, where I know that what I'm eating will NOT be anything less than tasty, satisfying, and filling. Why do these places have to dress shit up? Cant they offer just a plain spaghetti and meatballs? Guess not. For the best in Italian Cusine, peep Sergi's. Canton, and Potsdam NY

Updated my Apple computer with the latest edition of Tiger. Got the education discount which was really nice- over half off. The computer seems to run pretty well, but you know, like a used car, I'll just end up putting more and more money into it, to get it where it needs to be for today's standards. So, therefore, I am selling it. Most likely, I'll put it up on Ebay, much like I already did. Although, this time, noone will be able to send it back to me, because I'll have the sale be final, and a reserve price of around 450-500 dollars. Which is actually what I paid for it. It's still worth that much tho, because Mac's hold their value better than windows machines. Anyone wanna buy it? It's a G3 iBook with 600Mhz, 256 MB of RAM, 60 GB HD, and Mac OS X v10.4 Tiger. (It was just upgraded)

Hmm lets see- what else? Finally paid my damage bill at Oswego for 19.75. Still need to figure out what to do for living next semester at college. I dont want to take those stupid classes to live In Hart Hall, because of the way my schedule worked out for this semester; but, I'm too sure if Matt wants to leave Hart, because we already have a room together. At the same time, I really dont want to go back to Funnelle, that place is a dump.

Wish I could live in Bowman again, that place is the SHIT. However, next year will be sweet because parts of the new campus center will be open. AKA hockey! and next year, WTOP will be moved over there as well, along with WNYO and most likely everything else.

Other than that, not really anything else going on. Yankees will most likely get rained out tomorrow, so, there goes our trip to NYC. Oh well, it's off to Canada instead for some good ol' Canadian shopping, and, maybe even gambling at the casino! :) That's it y'all, ttys

On a side note, this made me cry because pop culture wise, it made me realize how old I really am:

Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars - SNES

Super Mario World - SNES

Starfox - SNES

F-Zero - SNES

Super Mario Kart - SNES

TMNT 4: Turtles in Time - SNES

^Everybody remember this?
James Durden hasnt existed for far too many months! What better time to bring him back then summer '06? I worked out for the first time today in a LONG time. Like, I'm going to guess probably over a year. The bikes we have are really shitty and need to be replaced, but seeing as how I just bought an Apple laptop, maybe I'll just have to settle for their medicrody (or however you spell that). But one thing I shouldnt be settling for medicrody in is my schoolwork. I know I always have in the past, esp in high school, and now even moreso in college than ever. I liked myself better when I was James Durden. He got things done, was more shrewd, more cunning, and best of all, he didnt just sit around and play Playstation all day. Plus, he actually got women.

So, I think it would be for the better, and not just for me, but for everybody, if Mr. James Durden made a reapperance, and this time, for good. If you go all the way back to my first entry, you'll get a feel of just who James Durden is.

Not quite too sure what has caused this slippage back to just plain mhirst16. A lazy, uncaring, apathetic Mike, who doesnt care about what happens to him, or where he goes in life. Well, you know, the truth is, is that I really do care about it, it's just somehow that part of me gets buried beneath the part that just wants to play Playstation the rest of his life. I am no idiot, and know obviously that this is not the case, and that to go anywhere in life, you need a good job, etc and all that good shit.

So, I'm out...time to go watch Fight Club again, and actually read the book from beginning to end.

p.s. Does anybody have and really good workouts that work good for them? If so please share. Thank you

Fuck college, fuck work, fuck rules, fuck everything and everybody! Why in this world do I need a God Damned piece of paper that costs 40,000 dollars, only to kiss some employer's ass and tell him/her that I'm "qualified" to do that work? Tell me what mothafuckin sense that shit makes. Uh yea...let me go to school for 4 (or in my case, more) years, and take 2 of those years to study shit that isnt EVEN RELATED TO WHAT I'M GOING INTO. I'd alredy be graduated by now if that shit were the case. I disagree strongly with Gen Ed requirements, and all that bullshit. I dont need a God Damned piece of paper to do a job either. Whoever came up with that should be drug out into the street and shot. Because it all boils down to one saying: Hard work beats talent when talent doesnt work hard.

So, I'm a lazy motherfucker, so shoot me, because I'm American, and if given the option, wouldnt work for a living. Winning the lottery would bail be out, but it tends to favor old men who have been playing the same numbers their whole lifes.

I just dont know about this whole college thing. I think more than anything, my dad wanted it for me. If given the option, I'll take whichever route involves the least amount of work. I'm sorry but that's just me. I'd rather be throwing a paper airplane at the teacher, than sitting in those chairs for 2 hours twice a week. That's just me. I need something REALLY interesting to captivate my interest, otherwise I get lost quickly and on to the next thing, and NO I dont have ADD.

Oh well, I gotta hit the bed. <lj:music>My 50 Cent Cover- G-Unit remix of hate it or love it.</lj:music>

So I was bored tonight and decided to fire up Sony Acid Pro, and my cheap 10 dollar computer mic I bought at the school store. For those of you that heard my Lloyd Banks cover, Til the End, thanks for your input. I'm glad everybody at least thought it was OK. I realize that it wasnt GOOD- but, rather just OK. Now, to where this is going. I made another rap song. It's The G-Unit remix of Hate it or love it. Let me tell you, I cut one sick track here. I've been working on my flow, and it's gotten a lot better from the first recording to this one.

Plus, this song is a little more upbeat than the other one, and you can put more feel into it. Once I was done adding the tracks, and editing, I took the effects, and applied a club-like reverb to it. The whole thing came together and now sounds awesome. Im me if you want to hear it. I wanted to put it on MySpace, but apparantly, Tom frowns on that because it's still kind of copyright infringement even tho it would be noted as a cover. Oh well, maybe I'll get like either a Dmusic, or Purevolume account and put them up on there.

I am going eventually going to make a MySpace Music account once I break out into my own shit. I finally have a rhymebook now, and I have been scribbling down my own verses. Plus, thanks to Limewire, I fianlly have Fruity Loops. It's a beat making program where you can make your own loops/instrumentals and beats. It's so cool. Very complex tho, I have no idea how to use it, but I'm sure I'll figure it out. I dont really like Sony Acid Pro...if you ask me, Deck, the software for Apples is a lot more user friendly. Tho, thanks to one of my friends at WTOP, I should soon have Adobe Audition, which works like a combination of Deck and Cool Edit Pro, which is really neat.

I've got some time in the radio lab next week, so maybe I'll try to cut some decent tracks then. At least there I can use a REAL micophone, and not my shitty 10 dollar computer one. Oh well, it really does serve it's purpose. Like I said, my second song is decent, and if you listen, you cant really tell that it's a shitty mic. My goal is to first get used to rapping in general, and what better person to study than my personal hero, and The God of rap, 50 Cent. The more I get used to seeing and listening what words they can rhyme with, and how I can incoporate that into my own rhymes, the better I will get.

I need to work on my freestyling flow too. But, that will come much later after I get my rhythm down for actual songs. I will say this, without getting too cocky, I am better than MOST white boys at the rap game. My second song is proof enough that I can ride a beat. Like I said before, I need to get down to my own writing, and developing my own style.

P.S. Rap and Hip-Hop is a LOT of fun. It's one of the cheapest genres of music to produce, that offers the greatest amount of return, obviously depending on success. But think about it. If you're like a rock band, or whatever, you have to have the ENTIRE band to rehearse, and everyone to record, and all that shit. But, verses a rapper, can go into a studio, and bascially, run the show himself, all things considered. Plus, the best thing is that you can practice ANYTIME, ANYWHERE. Just load the instrumentals onto your Ipod, and you're good to go. Ride that beat like a 'mo fucka!

Am I the greatest rapper? Fuck no! Am I good? Hell no- will I be ever be good? Probably not. I just do this as a hobby, because it's something I enjoy doing, and can have fun at.

Shoutout to my boiii- Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson- Love ya mayneeee

So this weekend was awesome...My grandma's 80th birthday party. It was just as I expected: Budweiser/Labatt, Nascar, and Marlboro to name a few sponsors lol. Tons of food- Going home for the weekend was nice. Got to see my uncle Bill from Montana, and just kick it for a couple of days. One of the things I really miss about home, that I dont have here, is driving. Driving is really fun. Not so fun gas prices tho...oh well. 3 more weeks and I'm out for the summer, and back to work at Stream.

So today hasnt been that bad...

Got an advisor FINALLY, after running all over creation. I'm actualy further along in my degree progress than I originally thought. I'm still a semester behind, but oh well whad'ya gonna do? I might do some JCC either next winter, or next summer. Overall I'm not too worried about it. I dont really want to graduate college in 4 years anyway.

It'll be nice, because when everybody else is gone, I'll get to see some of the nicer rennovations of this campus. I register for classes tomorrow. Me and my measly 25 credit hrs. But the good news is that all the classes I took at Potsdam counted towards Gen Eds, and one for my major. So, I'm happy about that.

Other than that, not really too much going on. My grandma turns 80 this weekend, I might got home, and I guess we're throwing her a big Hirst bash. And for those of you who know my dad's side of the family, you know that that means 2 things: Nascar racing and Budweiser.

Less than a month before I'm home for summer! :)

For those of you who view my LJ using your friends page, I urge you to pay a REAL visit to my journal to see my new layout. Tell me what you think of it. New pic as well. Things are going alright here I guess. End of the semester is coming up quick. It's going to be nice to get out of here for the summer. Not that I've really overexerted myself with work or anything else- but you know.

Still toying with the idea of going back to Potsdam. I mean, I love broadcasting and all, but when and if I even graduate, I'm going to have to move around a lot looking for work. Not really something I want to do. At Potsdam I could do their communication major and then go to grad school for broadcasting. But still not too sure about that one either.

Somebody won the 200-something Mega Millions jackpot- alas it wasn't me. Oh well, I'm not giving up. Somebody has to win, and sooner or later it will be me. The key to winning is playing the same numbers over and over agian all your life. Granted, I'm still playing with numbers that a certain someone picked for me. Whether or not that's bad I wont really know. But wouldn't it be some ironic shit if I actually hit it...with those numbers? haha Oh man, if I ever won, I'd be out of college so fast...head straight to the claim center, get my money and be on my way...to somewhere tropical. But, first recognizing the people who have played an important role in my life. They will not go unrecognized.

Something I also want to do sometime in my life is work for Disney in one way or another. I've been to Walt Disney World in Florida 19 times, and I think it's time that I give back to a place that gave me so much throughout my childhood and into my adulthood. I would like to be a Disney Wedding planner actually. I'd make good money, and I'll be helping plan one of the most memorable events in a person's life. That, to me, is exciting. You know that no 2 weddings are going to be the same, and the possibilities are endless. You can spend as little as 3,000 or as much as 300,000 dollars. I would have so much fun. Just being able to be a part of something that people are going to remember for the rest of their lives is very touching.

^For those of you who think that that's gay- blow me. Same fucking one sided people who call me gay for wearing a pink or purple shirt.

Well, that's about it actually. My parents are actually driving home from Disney World right now as I'm typing this. And you know something else? We're going again in August, which will mark my 20th visit. Maybe while I'm there, I'll inquire about being a Disney Wedding Planner.

First of all, due to what has happened in in response to my last post, I feel a need to remind everybody of one thing:

This is my website. I own this small piece of the internet. Therefore, I will use it to express myself in any way I see fit; and I plan on excersizing my right of the 1st amendment to the fullest extent possible. As stated earlier, you dont like what you're reading here, then DONT READ. If you want to leave something negative in my comments that's fine too, but dont be a pussy and leave it anonymous.

Now that we have aired some shit:

Onto my vacation.

Easter break was very good. I was home with my good friend Dave and his family for the second year in a row on Easter. He lives in Amherst, which is just outside of Buffalo. We packed so much stuff into the 4 days we were down there. I sampled sweet potato fries, Char broiled hot dogs from Ted's, bought some nice new shirts and ties at Kaufmann's, went to a nice Easter service, got Krispy Kreme donuts, stayed up until 3 or 4 everynight, met Dave's gf's family, and even got to sample the night life at Niagara Falls.

Most of you who read this know that I live in Watertown, and although my good buddy Dan convinced me not to HATE it completly, I cant say as I'd rather have been in Watertown over this break. I just would have been sitting around, bored off my ass like I am everytime that I'm home. Stuck with no car except my dad's (which basically means that I dont have one, because I couldnt just go to Canada for the weekend if I felt like it.) And believe me there have been plenty of weekends where I've wanted to do that.

So, now that break's over, I'm back in shithole Oswego. I mean, after a break like I've had, who in their right mind would want to come back to a place like this? I've eaten more in the past 4 days in Buffalo then I have this whole semester eating this God Damned prison food.

Is Potsdam in my future anytime soon? Well, not too sure. I have until the middle of July to think about it at least. Kinda hard to get advice about this kinf of thing, as just like with relationship advice, everybody's point of view is different. I know a lot of you are going to say, well, what's so hard about that choice, you hate it here, and Potsdam you liked 10 times better. Well, it's not that easy, because Potsdam does not have broadcasting, but this shithole does.

Ok, if I had to compare it to anything, I'd use a line from Dave Chappelle's latest Showtime special, and that line is: "I'd rather be gettin pissed on on the outside then bein' fucked in the butt on the inside." Translation: Oswego is fucking me in the butt, but if I transfer back to a school that doesnt have my major then I'll be getting pissed on. Which is the lesser of the 2 evils kinda thing. Oh well, I'll just have to keep on thinking on it.

As for now, all I know is that yesterday around this time, I was smoking a fat stogie, sippin on some Smirnoff (7% I might add) and putting gaming tokens into slot mahines. Now I'm back in scummy central NY doing nothing but sitting at my computer typing this. Which would you rather choose?

You know, everytime I seem to be having an ok streak of time, just when I start to like this college even a little bit... something seems to fuck it up.

For those of you who saw my profile, you know that I was investigating something called internet radio. This would enable me to run my own radio station and to "broadcast" (Stream) anything I wanted over the internet. The website is www.shoutcast.com and they do it for free.

All you need is a good computer and the requirements arent that stiff. You can run something as old as Windows 95. And- let me stress that because it is an internet station, you can broadcast ANY content that you want, because the net is NOT regulated by the FCC. And that's precisely why I was able to use the word FUCK both now and in the first sentence of this post.

If you use just a regular computer with a normal amount of internet bandwidth, the average person can have a MAX of 32 listeners listening to you at once. But, if you get good, you can host on another server besides your own computer. Preferrably someone with more bandwidth, that way more people can listen to you at once.

Anyways, so now to the part which sucks. I cant do any of this. Why? Because this college is stupid and blocks Resnet from streaming anything out of their shitty network. I mean, I can do it when I'm at home, but what's the point because I'm down here more than I'm at home.

By the Way- just as a side note- POTSDAM- ahem *cough cough* Has REAL Road Runner in ALL the dorms. No more dumbass RES NET. In case you dont know what that means. it means that people can do whatever they want on the internet. I KNOW it's not this college's fault- you know, that it's CTS who controls all that and NOT the college, but then, why is it when I go to do everything that I did at Potsdam, I can never do any of it? And go back a few posts to read my huge rant about why this place blows balls.

I know, I cant change any of it, then why complain- well you know, it all goes back to one simple thing: If anybody asked me if I reccomended this college, my response would go something like this:

No. They have no means of drying your hands in their bathrooms. <----- The bulk of this college's problems I feel can somehow always be traced back to that one thing.

Chew on that for awhile

    <lj:music>Quiet</lj:music>

Ok, so I figured that I'd update for real right now, because I havent in a long time. Basically, my life over the past few months hasnt been very pleasant. Last semester, I was on top of the world so to speak, with a 3.3 at Potsdam, and the best friends in the world there. Now, a few months later, I'm suddenly single, have no friends, and life sucks the big fat one.

Transferring from any school to another is hard, because there will always be that bias there ya know? I think Potsdam is HANDS DOWN better than this dump called Oswego. Why you ask? Well I'll tell you.

Bathrooms have no paper towels or any other means to dry your hands-something I'll never get over

Toilet seats in bathrooms always sticky for some strange reason

Dining hall in my dorm here is ass backwards-they serve dinner food at lunch and lunch food at dinner- wtf?? Plus the overall quality is average. Not great, but I guess not terrible either.

Brunch on most weekends is less then par unless they have the small cubed home fries

Funnelle Hall is the worst. There's no carpet in the hall, therefore everyhting that everybody does with their door open can be heard virtually everywhere. The only place you can talk on your cell phone without an echo is either in the main lounges, or your room. Forget about the small lounges, they echo like a mother fucker.

Showers here are ok I guess, but temp needs adjusting.

Campus is pretty big, and with the God Damned wind combined with the cold, walking anywhere turns pretty sour FAST.

Radio station here WNYO- not impressed. WAIH is much better. At least they allowed me to be myself on the air, and my show in general. They NEVER told me that I couldnt play anything.

TV Station- WTOP. Fun stuff- BUT I only get 45 seconds of on camera time a WEEK. That's gotta change.

What else- oh yea- Vending machines and laundry machines- NOT hooked up for card swipe. (i.e. Bear Express at Potsdam.) Cash is so damn inconvient, who the hell wants to have to make change to get quarters for laundry)

oh- and the mail here blows cock. It takes FOREVER to get things. My credit card statements always come at LEAST 3 days later then they should.

Student Union is OK- not great. Potsdam's union had EVERYHTING. Including the market which was open virtually all day everyday. Here, nothing is EVER open. Seriously, I went into the union yesterday which was a Sunday- looked like a fucking wasteland, I kid you not you could almost see the tumbleweeds I swear lol

Oh and the last thing is that nobody here in ANY of the offices has ANY clue what the fuck they are doing. ADMISSIONS, FIN AID, STUDENT ACCOUNTS all have their heads up their asses. I cant tell you how much of a run around it's been since I've got here from office to office to straighten shit out because somebody fucked up my shit. Oh and plus, the counseling center has cancelled on me TWICE now. Some help they are.

People here are just generally more unfriendly. I cant tell you how many times I've said hi to people and they just ignore me like I'm some kind of small piece of shit that doesnt matter.

Bottom line is that this campus blows and always will at least until the new campus center opens, which even then there's no guarantee. If Potsdam had my major-(broadcasting) I would have stayed up there instead of coming here. AND, in fact, I'm STUCK here because this is basically the only SUNY school that has broadcasting, or a good program or some shit like that. Plattsburgh has something like it I'm told, but it's probably not as good. oh- academics are good here, but everything else sucks, lol.

So, as my ex girlfriend always told me a million times- you cant change it, so why complain? Complaining isnt going to di any good. Well, maybe not in a blog like this, but to the right people yes sometimes it does get shit done.

Well, it's just about time to head to Meterology class with Scuba Steve- now he's a dude here who's laid back. This school should take lessons from him.

Anyway, to wrap shit up, my 20th birthday was pretty good. MUCH better than the 19th. If you knew me last year then you know what happend, lol. Family came down and we went to Tuesday's for dinner. Biggest burgers I've seen in a long time. Simpsons seasons 6 and 7 on DVD hell YES World Baseball Classic on today fuck YES 1pm DR vs. Venezula. Go DR all the way!

Thank you POTSDAM for all the birthday wishes (which of course is all my friends from there) lol

I'm out

One Love

Hmm I guess life here's not too bad. I just still need to meet more people here. The WRVO and WTOP student run radio and TV station meeting is tomorrow, definetly goning to check that out. Hmm isnt it odd that I'm updating during the day? Usually I update like late night. Oh well. I should probably be doing homework right now....like reading history or small group communication. I havent been to my mass media class yet or radio production. Mass media was cancelled the first day, and I only have radio production one day a week on Wed from 7-9:40pm. So I was in the school store today, and I was browsing the posters, you know, cause my room is looking a little bare. I come across this cool Fight Club one. So, I'm like, ok this one looks alright, I guess I'll get this one. I thought that for like 2 seconds until I looked on the end of it and saw the price. $8.50!! Holy fuckin A people! That's over 9 dollars for a fuckin poster for your room. I dont know about you, but can you say Wal-Mart? MUCH cheaper. Who the fuck wants to pay 9 dollars for a God Damned room poster?!? I know that college kids need posters for their room, but come on you dont have to charge us up the ass for a fucking poster. You already get us with your textbooks and all the hoodies and shit that we buy with YOUR logo on them. I think you can afford to knock the price down for a piece of paper with a cool design on it. That is all. To all my Potsdam friends, that rant was for you, in case you're missing the Mizzle's rants, lol

Holla Bitchez! I'm in Oswego! The land of Lake Ontario and the Nuclear Power Plant lol So I'm all settled in and my new room is off the HOOK. Better furniture than most of the Potsdam dorms. Food here is average. Can't stand the showers here however. And, for those of you at Potsdam, you know why this is a problem lol Anyways, all in all, it's been a generally ok first couple days. Class is class. History prof. is a dick. what else is new. Other than that, not really too much going on. Oh- and having my Amber sweet here with me is truely a lifesaver! I love you Amber honey! :)

    <lj:music>Dont wanna miss a thing by Aerosmith</lj:music>

So today marks the 11 month anniversary for Amber and me. :) Well, technically yesterday cause it IS after 12 lol But- today was also special for one other reason, and that was it was the first anniversary out of the whole 11 months when Amber and I could actually be together. I helped her and her family today with the concession stand during a basketball game. I had a lot of fun. Despite the fact that Amber was so tired from being up forever the night before lol Oh well, as she would tell you, it happens lol :) ahh...

11 wonderful months....

I love you Amber!
